“Easy Cell Counting with hemocytometer” App Description
Many experiments in life sciences, such as biochemical and immunological assays, need counting the number of cells with a hemocytometer and calculating how much you need for each example. This “Easy Cell Counting with hemocytometer” app makes everything simple and easy! Simply tap the phone when you count and it tells you the concentration of cells and volume of the samples you need automatically.
All you need to do is enter the following information before counting:
(1)The number of squares in the hemocytometer you count cells in
(2)Sample Name (the default is the number 1, 2, 3….)
(3)Dilution factor when you prepare your samples
(4)Start counting. Tapping on “+” produces unique sound mimicking the sound from clicking manual cell counter. If you make an error, tap on “-“, which generates a different sound, or simply edit the number.
(5)If you need certain number of cells for your experiment, simply enter it and you will get the volume of cells instantly.
(6)When you finish counting, click “Finish”. This app will produce a nice table with all the numbers. If you need to edit the data, select the sample by pressing it and press “Edit Sample”.
(7)You can also export the data through email!
